Aniline 2,5-disulfonic acid (A2,5-DSA) is an organic compound that is formed by the sulfonation of metanilic acid, which is an amine derived from benzene. It is a white crystalline solid that is soluble in water and has a strong acidic character. It is used as an intermediate in the production of certain dyes and pigments, as well as in the synthesis of other chemicals.
